<3 Hey! We should do something this weekend! :D
April 2011
They expect my reaction to be something like:
When really, my reaction is something like:
Somebody told me once that the ringing in your ears you hear after a concert or show is the sound the nerves that pick up that specific note dying, and that you will never hear that exact note again.
Which is poetic, but not entirely true.
I can hear up to 20 kHz, but not 21. I have the ears of a teenager!
And I’m a few years past 25.
I can hear up to 18. I knew my hearing was fucked.
Mine gives out after 16. I’m maybe three months into being 21 :(
But then again I was a pianist and singer for something like 15 years. And I spend a LOT of time listening to my ipod.
Mine is 18 and I just turned 22. Probably the weekly car races every summer of my life. I wore earplugs when I was really little, but I stopped when I was like 7. Damn.
Ugh. I can hear up to 20, but that also means I can hear all those damn mosquito ringtones.
I’m 18 years old and I can barely hear 15….Ah, well. I’m not too surprised. I had a 50% hearing loss 5 years ago and was near deaf when I was 3 years old. Ehh… I have near perfect pitch though? Thumbs up to that :)
